The stunning property, beautiful vineyards, and warm hospitality made our experience truly memorable. The hosts, Umberto and Federica, were friendly and welcoming, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The room was spacious and well-decorated, with a lovely view of the vineyards from the window. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The surrounding area was perfect for relaxation, and the pool provided a refreshing retreat. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the peaceful atmosphere and lavender scent created a soothing ambiance. we highly recommend Fattoria San Donato for a wonderful stay in the Tuscan countryside.

Room was not cleaned, nor waste bin emptied in 3 days. Would have helped to have information guide (guide to location and facilties, history of San Donato, explanation about wine grown etc) in room.

We had an incredible time at this rustic farmhouse with breathtaking views. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with beautiful bathrooms. The highlight was the delicious food and wine, including a mouthwatering breakfast spread and a traditional Italian feast for dinner. The location was perfect, just minutes away from San Gimignano. We also enjoyed the wine tasting and the opportunity to buy their products. a memorable experience for adventure travelers like us!

Nice to stay in vineyard. Owner speaks good English. The place is 5 minute drive from San Gimignano. Open country, clean air. Heavenly.

The location of Fattoria San Donato was so beautiful and peaceful. At night it was very quiet and in the morning we woke to the sounds of morning doves and spectacular Tuscany scenery. The pool was lovely with shade or sun and no need to compete with lots of people for chairs. Even though the buildings were 900 year old Etruscan houses, our room was recently renovated with a brand new bath. It was a good location to explore both Sienna and San Gimingiano.

some of the amenities in the room were not fully functional. It would have been helpful if the restaurant had been open every day and if the stove had worked properly.

Amazing place. All the staff are so warm and welcoming. When we arrived we asked where we could eat and were immediately prepared a huge fresh lunch. Food is definitely fresh and delicious. Our room was spacious and had. Window looking over vineyards. The whole property is just as one would imagine Tuscany! Pool was lovely. All up I would reccomend fattoria s d to anyone.

A little hard to get into the center of San Gimignano without a car(taxis or walk an hour)

The owners speak in english and are warm and welcoming with excellent suggestions about when to visit San Gimignano and where to eat and have the best Gelato. The location was excellent as we had a car. Walks in the olive grove and vineyard with stunning views of San Gimignano. San Gimignano is just the most beautiful town in Italy. Wish we had stayed longer. Oh! the breakfast was wonderful and sumptuous a welcome change from Brioche and coffee.

The water from the shower went all over until we put the bath mat to absorb the water, although our stay was perfect but for giving a fair assessment we wouldn't have mentioned this.

A truly enchanting stay at Fattoria San Donato. The charming and character-filled property exceeded all expectations. The welcoming hosts, Frederica and Umberto, made us feel right at home. The wine tasting room was a delightful touch, offering their own delicious wine for purchase. The tranquil and picturesque location was perfect for exploring Tuscany. The spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, and cooking classes were all highlights. We were even treated to the warm company of their friendly dogs. A truly idyllic experience.

This was a real find.A Taste of authentic Italy in every way.A Lovely rural b+b with distant views of San Gimignano.They serve dinner only on certain days of the week and this was the highlight of our stay-a communal meal with guests of all nationalities.It was a wonderful 'all you can eat' home cooked Italian feast with wine and Grappa ,all for 25 euros per head.Good breakfast too in shady courtyard.

Not easy to find reception when arrived .

Without any doubt a wonderful experience! The location of the property is excellent, the views on the countryside superb. But really a highlight was the multi-course dinner that was served for only 25,-. If you're looking for true Tuscan flavours and staying off the beaten path, please leave the traditional hotels behind, and choose this beautiful agriturismo...And don't forget to taste the wines!!

Very friendly staff! Good breakfast with delicious cappuccino's. The room we had was very clean, with a good large 2 personbed! The bathroom was new and clean.

The location was excellent for seeing major attractions within Tuscany.The Breakfast was excellent.The rooms were very spacious and worth the price.

The only thing we were concerned about was the rooms were not cleaned daily. ie bed being made and bathroom not cleaned. Being on holidays the wife was expecting a little break from household chores.
